Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Kimball County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
