Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Orange County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 1+ years on the tools preferred.
