Brickwork mason wanted in Borough of Oldham

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Borough of Oldham, England. The job is at a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
