Rebar fixer • Camden County, New Jersey

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Camden County, New Jersey. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. The role involves: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
