Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Grand Isle County, Vermont. You will work on a road construction project. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Your main tasks: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid Performance bonus on top of base pay.
