PVC window installer • San Bernardino County, California

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window installer in San Bernardino County, California. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
