Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Matanuska-Susitna Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work You will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square.
