Health and safety supervisor wanted in Carter County

Join our team: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Carter County, Tennessee. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Day-to-day duties: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
