Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in DeKalb County, Tennessee. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts.
