Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Chouteau County, Montana. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator 1+ years on the tools preferred.
