Immediate opening: motor grader operator (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Understanding of safe digging near underground services On the job you will handle: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
