Shuttering and concrete hand — City of Galax

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in City of Galax, Virginia. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. On the job you will handle: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
