Now hiring: we are hiring a general labourer in Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₦380,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
