Tig welder — Mendocino County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Mendocino County, California. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 4+ years on the tools preferred.
