Safety officer — Esan Central

Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Esan Central, Edo. You will work on a high-rise building project. On a typical shift you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills We offer ₦70,000 per month plus benefits.
