Shuttering and concrete hand wanted in Erie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
