Now hiring: glazing assistant (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Comanche County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy glazing workshop. On a typical shift you will work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. Requirements: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Own basic hand tools an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred.
