Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Cherokee County, Alabama. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. The role involves check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; write and edit G-code programs at the control; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; load and index turning tools in the turret; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
