Concrete placer • Falkirk, Scotland

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete placer in Falkirk, Scotland. The job is at an infrastructure site. On the job you will handle: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Six days a week, one day off.
