Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Alabama)

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Bullock County, Alabama. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
