Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Chisago County, Minnesota. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day On the job you will handle: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
