Safety officer — Bronx County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Bronx County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot On a typical shift you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
