Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron The role involves: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
