Vacancy available: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Pike County, Illinois. You will work at a haulage company. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Performance bonus on top of base pay.
