You should have: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Day-to-day duties: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection 4+ years on the tools preferred.
