Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Houston County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Houston County, Texas. The job is on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time with occasional weekends. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
