Aluminium tig welder — Dallas County

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Dallas County, Iowa. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
