Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Ness County, Kansas. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Your main tasks: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
