Split AC fitter • Kings County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Kings County, New York. The role involves: • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred 1+ years on the tools preferred.
