Precision welder — North Lanarkshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Performance bonus on top of base pay.
