Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Wilson County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely 2+ years on the tools preferred.
