Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Orkney Islands, Scotland. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting On a typical shift you will pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations.
