GTAW welder wanted in Medway

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Medway, England. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
