Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Keokuk County, Iowa. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work You will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
