Now hiring: rebar installer (Adamawa State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Gombi, Adamawa State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Your main tasks: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. ₦175,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
