On a typical shift you will hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A good head for heights and steady balance Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
