Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Scott County, Arkansas. The job is at an automotive components factory. The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
