Lift technician • Monona County, Iowa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in Monona County, Iowa. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota On a typical shift you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
