Heavy equipment operator (dozer) • Stokes County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Stokes County, North Carolina. You will be based at a land-clearing site. Day-to-day duties: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
