Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Your main tasks: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers Rotating shifts.
