Machine setter-operator wanted in Brighton and Hove

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Brighton and Hove, England. You will be based in a textile mill. The role involves: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
