Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Camden County, Georgia. Day to day you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
