Fire and safety officer — Pinellas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Pinellas County, Florida. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Day to day you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
