Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Shelby County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Shelby County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
