Lift erector — Knox County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift erector in Knox County, Maine. Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
