Gardener — Rhea County

Join our team: we are hiring a gardener in Rhea County, Tennessee. You will be based in a botanical garden. Day to day you will repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Part-time with flexible hours.
