Elevator service technician • Montgomery County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Montgomery County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
