Refrigeration technician — Hood River County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Hood River County, Oregon. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. What we are looking for: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Day-to-day duties: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges Rotating shifts.
