Gtaw welder — Cabell County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Cabell County, West Virginia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
