Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Macon County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy production line. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
